Starting in the spring
of 2004, with the help of my parents, Ralph and Ruth Andre, the ground
was prepared, irrigation lines laid, and the first plants were placed
in the
rich soil on acreage now known as Andre Organic Lavender Farm.
Now we have 10 varieties of lavender growing year 'round and over
13,000 plants.
In
July, 2005, we opened our Lavender Shoppe featuring our first products. Today,
with my parents still helping (they're both in their 80s!) we offer more
than 25 products, all containing
the wonderful oil we
make ourselves,
right on the farm.
